Melissa Price’s track record as environment minister (Qld) doesn’t contain many highlights. Price, who was punted from the environment portfolio post-election to the lesser defence industries job, rolled out for mining hopeful Adani Australia……….. On April 9, Price (then still environment minister) said she had confirmation from the CSIRO and Geoscience Australia that the company’s plans met strict scientific requirements.
Price’s replacement, Sussan Ley, was yesterday quick to point out all approvals have yet to be completed and she intends to keep a close eye on the mine.
